This policy outlines the equality that will be upheld at Immersive Multiplayer Servers.


Policy Scope & Application

This policy applies to all of IMS, regardless of division-specific rules or guidelines.


Equality & Anti-Harassment

  1. No one is to be discriminated, harassed, or otherwise given a disadvantage due to a personal trait such as sex/gender, race, age, location, religion, sexual orientation, etc.
  2. Usage of offensive slurs or terms, such as homophobic, sexist, or racial slurs, will not be tolerated anywhere at IMS.
  3. A person may not be hired due to their attitude (such as it being toxic, inappropriate, disrespectful, etc.) or other behavioral traits that obstruct the responsibilities of the position.
  4. While age discrimination is not allowed, no staff member will be hired if they are under the age of 13 due to U.S. COPPA law and U.K. law. Staff members are considered volunteers and not employees of the company.
  5. Discrimination is not to be confused with attitude. Being treated differently due to having a poor or bad attitude is not discrimination.

Words that require clarification:


Make an unjust or prejudicial distinction in the treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, sex, or age.


Aggressive pressure or intimidation.

Personal Trait

A genetically determined characteristic.


The overall behavior of a given person.


The manner of behaving or acting.
